KQNY is dedicated to providing diverse programming that interests and informs the Plumas community and its visitors. We encourage community participation in the station's activities, including learning radio production skills and volunteering at various radio events. KQNY hopes to further the quality of life of our community and its sustainability by offering a forum for information sharing and collaboration with other local non-profit organizations. We'll be doing a prize drawing again for lodging in Cabo San Lucas next fall! Everyone entered into last Fall's prize drawing will be included in this one too!
Prize Drawing Rules:1. The prize is a one-week stay at Playa Grande Resort, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico from November 17, 2013 to November 24, 2013. The lodging is a studio space that sleeps four people. Information on the resort is available at http://www.playa-grande-cabo.com.
2. The prize is valued at approximately $1,300.00. 3. To qualify for entry into the drawing, an individual must make a minimum $120.00 USD donation to Plumas Community Radio by cash, check, or PayPal® between 12:00 AM Pacific Time on November 1, 2012 and 11:59 PM Pacific Time on May 31, 2013. Qualifying donations may be mailed to Plumas Community Radio, PO Box 350, Quincy, CA 95971, and must be received by May 31, 2013. 4. The winner will be selected by random drawing at the Drunk Brush Wine Bar in Quincy on June 7, 2013 at 6:00 PM Pacific Time. 5. Only one winner will be chosen. The winner need not be present to win. 6. The prize is not redeemable for cash, goods, or services. 7. The winner may not sell or trade the prize, but at his or her option, may transfer it free of charge to another individual. Only one such transfer will be permitted. 8. Other costs associated with the trip, including but not limited to round-trip travel, meals, and entertainment, are the sole responsibility of the winner. 9. As a condition of taking possession of the prize, the winner will be required to sign a liability waiver agreeing to release Plumas Community Radio and all individuals associated with it of any liability associated with the trip.
